What we store in your browser

This site uses localStorage (a small key-value store local to your browser) to remember context between pages. The key is cooli_ctx and may contain:

• brief — what you typed into the "See it for your situation" box on a service page
• last_service — which service page you most recently viewed
• last_idea — the headline + body of the last idea our model sketched for you
• name, email, company — only if you completed the project intake; used to greet you on a return visit
• cooli_consent — your storage preference itself ("accepted" or "denied")

Two more keys sit alongside it: cooli_exp, which records the version of the landing page you were shown so it does not change while you are reading it, and cooli_analytics, which is set only if you switch visit measurement off below.

Nothing here is shared with third parties. The intake conversation runs through Google's Gemini API for the chat itself, but the persisted browser data stays in your browser.

What we keep on our side

Stored: what you send us when you reach out (name, contact info, project description), kept only as long as needed to respond. Email hello@cooli.ai any time and we'll delete it.

Visit measurement: we run two versions of our landing page and count, anonymously, which one people find more useful. Per visit we record which version you saw, how long the page was open, how far you scrolled, how many things you clicked, and whether you booked a call, plus your browser user agent and a two-letter country code. There is no name, no email, no IP address, and no profile that follows you anywhere. It is ours alone and is deleted after 90 days. This is on by default and you can switch it off below, in which case nothing at all is sent. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it stays off unless you actively accept storage.

Not stored: no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no ad trackers, no third party analytics of any kind, and we never sell or share your data. The only cookies are Cloudflare's, strictly necessary for security and keeping the site running.

Email outreach

We send a small volume of business-to-business outreach email to companies we think Cooli could help. If you received one of these, here is exactly what we track and keep:

• Opens, via a small tracking image, and link clicks, via a redirect through cooli.ai. For each event we store only the message id, a timestamp, your browser/mail-client user agent, and a two-letter country code.
• We do not store your IP address, and we do not use this data for advertising or share it with third parties.
• Recipients in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland are not tracked: the image and links still work, but no open or click is logged.
• Engagement data is automatically deleted after 90 days.

To stop receiving outreach, reply to any message with "unsubscribe" (or "remove me"), or email hello@cooli.ai. We honor opt-out requests promptly and remove your address from future sends.

SMS / text messaging

Cooli AI builds and operates SMS customer-care assistants for client businesses (for example, an after-hours text line for a local shop). This section covers those text programs.

How you opt in: you opt in by sending a text message to a business number that uses Cooli. The number is published on the business's website and at its place of business. By texting it first, you start the conversation and consent to receive SMS replies. We never message a person who has not texted the business first, and we do not buy, rent, or upload phone number lists.

What you receive: conversational customer-care replies (answering questions, scheduling, confirmations). Message frequency varies by conversation. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and help: reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, and HELP for help. You can also email hello@cooli.ai.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties, and we do not sell this data. Phone numbers and message content are used only to operate the customer-care conversation and are kept only as long as needed to respond.

SMS terms & conditions

By texting a business number operated by Cooli AI, you agree to these terms.

• Program: an SMS customer-care service that replies to questions and helps with scheduling and confirmations for the business you texted.
• Frequency: message frequency varies based on your conversation with the business.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier plan. Cooli does not charge for the messages.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You may receive a single confirmation that you have opted out.
• Help: reply HELP for assistance, or email hello@cooli.ai.
• Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Eligibility: you must be the account holder or have authorization to use the texting phone number.
• Privacy: your use of the service is also governed by the SMS / text messaging and privacy sections above. Mobile information and opt-in data are never shared with third parties for marketing.

The Lab (Sprout / Mulch)

The Lab projects (cooli.ai/sprouts/, cooli.ai/mulch/) are GitHub-hosted experiments. Anything you submit there (issues, PRs) is public on GitHub under the standard GitHub privacy and terms.
